I spent four nights at the Experimental in Val-d'Isere. Great location made it easy to access the lifts and slopes. The breakfast spread was fantastic with plenty of options to kickstart the day. I appreciated the on-site ski rental service that simplified getting equipment. the room felt dated, with cleaning standards not meeting expectations. The pool area was nice, but it could really use a better maintenance plan—during my stay, it felt cold and lacked a cozy atmosphere. while the staff was generally responsive, there were hiccups in service that could use more consistency.

Spa was great, but we dealt with some late-night noise from the kitchen below.

The exceptional breakfast, featuring local delicacies, coupled with the attentive concierge's personalized service, significantly enhanced our stay. The surrounding atmosphere was warm, creating a cozy environment after long days on the slopes.

i previously stayed in val d'isere, and the experimental really exceeded my expectations this time! the location was fantastic, just a short walk to the lifts, and the reception staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming. honestly, the food was top-notch and made my stay even better.

The staff was exceptionally friendly and always willing to help. I loved the convenience of the ski hire shop located in the boot room, making it easy to access gear before hitting the slopes. The mountain view from my room added a beautiful touch to my stay, especially during sunrise.
